Pomegranate Red Wine Marinade
1/8 cup pomegranate juice
1/8 cup red wine (I used pinot noir)
1/8 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1/8 tsp onion powder
fresh cracked sea salt
fresh cracked black pepper
Whisk everything together and pour into a ziplock bag with your meat! Marinate in the refrigerator about an hour.
Remove the beef from the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature. (About a half hour before cooking) Remember steak is a muscle! If it goes from cold to hot, the muscle will cease and your steak wont be as tender!
